About FLASH Dentspa
At FLASH Dentspa, April Lee, DMD, a cosmetic and general dentist, provides oral health care and aesthetics to adults living in and around St. Petersburg, Florida, and throughout Pinellas County.
Dr. Lee was born in Houston, Texas, but grew up all over the world. She began her professional education at the University of Florida in Gainesville, earning her undergraduate degree in food science and human nutrition.
After graduation, Dr. Lee moved to Pennsylvania and enrolled at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. There, she thrived in the program, obtaining her Doctorate of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD).
Dr. Lee opened her first private practice in Cypress, Texas. During that time, she also served as a clinical assistant professor at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston.
At FLASH Dentspa, Dr. Lee enjoys helping people achieve beautiful smiles and vibrant skin. She offers various cosmetic dentistry and aesthetic services, including Botox®, dermal fillers, lip fillers, and PDO threads. Patients can also access cosmetic veneers, teeth whitening, and dental crowns.
Outside the office, Dr. Lee enjoys going on dental mission trips to places like Panama and Honduras. She’s also an athlete who enjoys golfing, swimming, and working out. Dr. Lee is active in her church and loves hanging out with family. She welcomes anyone seeking improved oral hygiene or healthier skin to FLASH Dentspa today.

About April Lee, D.M.D.
Dr. April Lee attended the University of Florida where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Human Nutrition, where she participated in a research program in Periodontics department at UFCD. She then went on to graduate from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine with her degree in dental medicine. She moved to Houston, Texas for few years where she started her office, but returned home permanently to be with family.
During her residence in Houston, she devoted her time to teach as clinical assistant professor at UT Health School of Dentistry. She has participated in many dental associations and continued education courses enabling her to stay up to date with the newest dental practices and the latest technology.
Dr. Lee has a passion for volunteering and giving back to her community. She has participated in multiple mission trips and volunteer programs, giving her the opportunity to use her expertise in dental care to help those in need. Dr. Lee’s faith has inspired a passion for providing exceptional patient care through painless experiences giving her patients’ confidence in their smiles. Outside of the office, Dr. Lee enjoys spending time with family and friends, working out, exploring the outdoors and whipping up some amazing treats in the kitchen.
Our Vision
FLASH Dentspa was started with a simple desire to merge multiple non-surgical cosmetic procedures in one spa. The vision was birthed from the need of “true” comprehensive cosmetic care that encompasses variety of aesthetic procedures. The concept of the design was to be able to achieve the dashing, flashy-look at a speed of FLASH. It creates a space for patients to be able to receive treatments that require cosmetic and general procedures in one location.
A smile can speak a million words. People will be able to embrace their new smile with confidence. FLASH Dentspa follows a treatment philosophy that emphasizes dental health while focusing on the beauty of your smile. We put the needs of our patients first with trusting, gentle and comforting care.
